Aurora Shuttle Pod | Laundry Monsters Spacecraft Design

Aurora Shuttle Pods are compact high-speed craft used by Space Command as both emergency liferafts for vessels in distress and for rapid-response travel across the Aurora System. Built for a single pilot, the pods sacrifice comfort and durability in favour of extreme speed and precision.

The vessels feature a hyper-velocity mode, allowing them to travel at speeds approaching the speed of light. At sustained velocity, the craft can become unstable and pose significant risk to the pilot, though they are capable of maintaining such speeds for journeys of up to 12 cycles.

Following the Zorgon theft of experimental technology, Doc Mercana commandeers one of these shuttle pods without authorisation, initiating a high-risk journey toward the Sambacoa Nebula.
